Here is the summary of the comments of our classmates (at syempre hndi mawawala ang “harsh” comments namin sa mga inggitero’t inggitera sa class! =D):

- They don’t have a background. Oh well, explanation for this sa first part ng post na to. Pakibasa na lang.

- Voices were clear but soft (alangan naman magsigawan kami dun ano!)

- The interviewers could have made it more natural so they’d be on the same level with the interviewee. (Hay, baka magiba lang ang CAL kng tatawa kmi ni Anne)

- good expression daw ako the way I coined “Margie”. (thanks! hehehe)

- what a token! (syemps, hahaha, sponsor namin sa interview blue magic eh. hahaha)

- Interviewers did not get much of the answers they wanted. (if you only knew, we got much more than what we have asked for. haha)

- The song part was phenomenal. (ok, I don’t take credit here. Go natasha! Birit queen!)

- Comfortable guest and interviewers (yeah, we were very comfortable, namutla pa nga ako sa pagka-comfy eh)

- The interviewee spoke in tagalog. (Aah, pwede naman sabi ni sir eh.)

- Stiff and serious interviewers (syempre to balance the quirky aura of our guest. pag kalog dn kami cguro, gag show na kalalabasan nun. haha. joke)

- “I loved it!” (oh really, you loved it? Kami rin, the feeling is mutual. We loved it too. Duh. Haha.)

Alright, done. Ang bitter ng side comments ko noh. But I assure you, for fun lng ‘to. I take these comments objectively. No hard feelings. We did good. Andaming nagsabi na samin yung favorite interview nila. Yep, favorite ko din yung Meimei interview. Hahahaha.

We just finished having our interview in our Comm3 class and everything went well. Though not as we planned it. Um, minor deviation in our script but overall, we thought it was good. By “we”, of course, I meant “Anne and I”. Who else would think our interview was good except us? Dba? Haha.

40% Interviewing Skills: Sabi ni Sir Ken nag-improve na daw kami sa public speaking skill namin. I beg to differ, Sir. We did not improve in our public speaking skill, instead, we gained a public speaking skill. Haha. Yeiy Anne, yeiy me!

30% Overall Presentation: What exactly is overall presentation? Well, we did not have a background coz we used a different room that day. And then, mas formal pa ang guest namin tignan kesa samin ni Anne. Haha. But still, we gave away free candies and Anne made our very nice “hawakan” (pang Fine Arts level ba naman!) and we had a Query portion in our “show” and yung binili kong token of appreciation na pillow sa Blue Magic was not the “usual” token that my other classmates gave to their guests. Wee! *self-consolation*

10% Interview Plan: I think you’ll get a 10 here as long as you pass your interview plan. I hope I’m not wrong. Haha. Or maybe, Sir Ken still scrutinizes the details that we put in our interview plan. Hope not. *fingers crossed*

10% Audience’s Comment: O cge, mag-comment kayo hanggang magsawa kayo. Ang bumangga, giba! Hahaha. Nagpapakaangas lang po. It’s another way of saying “gandahan nyo naman ang comments nyo oh, binigyan na nga kayo ng kendi eh”. Haha. Those candies were bribes after all. Seriously, mukang natuwa naman ang mga classmates ko sa interview namin. No, natuwa pala sila sa amin. No, not sa amin ni Anne, sa guest namin pala. Hahaha.

10% Choice of Guest: Wow, here is the lengthy part. Brace yourself. Haha. Guest namin si Natasha Cabrera a.k.a. Meimei/Margie sa Silent Soprano na play. Weeks before the interview, they kept asking us ung sino ang iinterviewhin namin. Tas sagot namin “si Meimei”. And as usual, sagot nila “sosyal” or “wow” or “really?!” or “di nga…”. But last Feb.1, it was real. Andun nga si “Meimei” sa harapan nila. Nakakatuwa lang kasi super complementary talaga, kasi Anne and I are both shy and balak lang talaga namin ay sundin yung script, word for word. Pero dahil sobrang kalog ni Meimei, tawa ng tawa ang buong class, e di adlib naman ng adlib kami ni Anne. Haha. Ako nga natatawa rin eh, pero kinakagat ko na lang ang dila ko because I am the interviewer and I have to do my job and di pwede na tawa lng ako ng tawa dun. And so, nag intro kami ni Anne, “Ladies and gentlemen, a 3rd year Theater Arts student, the Silent Soprano, Ms. Natasha Cabrera!” Clap ang audience and “wow” ang reaction nila. And then the laughter-filled interview went on and then thank you na kmi kay “Meimei”. Mag-iintro pa sana ako ng “A big round of applause to Ms. Natasha Cabrera as she sings We Are One from the Silent Soprano!” kaso ang kulit ng mga classmates ko, naunahan nila ako, they were chanting “sample, sample, sample” na. So mapagbigay naman si Ate Natasha so kumanta na lang siya. And that was the glorious moment that Anne and I felt. It felt like everything was up for us. Our guest wowed the audience, she silenced the murmurs of our classmates and we would not have done it without her. Her talent, her being kalog, and simply her presence. Thank you talaga, Ms. Natasha!!! And thank you kay Anne for being the best interview partner one can probably ever have. Naks! Haha. And bakit si Ate Natasha ang choice of guest namin? Well, ayoko kasi ng “ordinary” guest and gusto ko na maka-relate lahat ng classmates ko sa Comm3 and yung nakita ko lang na common point naming LAHAT sa Comm3 is yung Silent Soprano kasi we all watched it as a class. Period. Yun lang talaga ang naisip ko so we went for the gold.

Hoping na “gold” talaga nakuha namin. Can’t wait sa grade namin sa interview.

Upcoming long test in Kas1 and Physics71. Katatapos lng ng longtest sa Math53. Midterms malapit na. Interview sa Comm3. Dapat galingan namin. We have a rather ambitious concept for this one. Me and Anne. Ay mali. Anne and I pala. Hehe. Long test na din namin sa geog 1 sa…ewan…basta. Malapit na long test namin.

But the part I’m really excited about is the interview. Bigatin ba guest namin? Umm, sort of. Yeah, bigatin. And my classmates will really like her. Si Meimei. Si Silent Soprano. And thanks to Bemboy for helping with the overall appeal of our interview. For helping us with the script. Creative consultant turned “TV show” director. Right, we’re doing the usual TV show format for our interview. But we’re making it more creative, I guess. The audience will feel like they really are in some kind of TV show. Shucks. Yabang.

Coming Up: Orozman at Zafira in DUP!!! Woohoo! Theater-fest na naman to! Complimentary tickets…hmmm… I get to do a reaction paper again but it’s ok. I know this play is going to be great.

Heroes addict na ako ngayon. I just find the show ordinary, yet amazing. You can find a show with different people having different superpowers as its storyline, but I particularly don’t know what makes Heroes so special. Maybe it’s the diversity of the characters. Or maybe it’s Peter Petrelli in Season 1. Hehe. I like him in Season 1, coz he looked so young there. But now, there’s a new season, and I have moved on too. I like West. When I see him, I readily wanna be Claire Bennet. Hehe. I like all the heroes in the show, but these heroes are the ones I really envy:

- Claire Bennet (first of all, for having West..second, for having the ability to regenerate)

- Peter Petrelli (for having the ability to absorb the powers of others)

- West (do I need to explain? West, fly me to the moon)

- Hiro Nakamura (for having the ability to stop time and travel through space)

- Matt Parkman (coz he can read people’s thoughts)

- and my favorite of all, Dr. Mohinder Suresh (I dunno, I like his complex character)

• May upcoming long test kami sa physics and d ko alam kung kakayanin ko pa. Ang hirap kasi, super jammed na ang mga topics. What we used to discuss for one quarter nung high school, isang meeting lang dito sa UP. Huhuhu. Oh well, sabi nga nila Honor and Excellence daw. Hmm.

• Malapit na ang christmas and I’m still broke. Hey, I’m just a teenager trying to live my life to the fullest, and tao lang po, I make mistakes on what to prioritize when it comes to expenses. Hayaan mo na, I will learn my lesson na lang.

• Lovelife: Hmm..no comment.. Wala eh. Sabi nila: Wow, busy-busyhan ka ngayon ah. Bigyan mo naman ng time ang lovelife mo. Sagot ko naman: Ahaha, cge. Pag natapos ko na ‘tong problem na ‘to, pwede na. Toinks! Haha.

• I am always wilfing. That is, surfing the internet with no purpose at all. What I’m Looking For ata ang ibig sabihin nung wilf na yun. Ewan, paki check nalang. Anjan naman si Mr. Google eh.

Hanggang dito na lang. Aayusin ko pa ang cursed na laptop. Hmmp.

So dito muna ako sa wordpress tumatambay, while “inaayos” pa nila ang friendster blog. Here’s hoping na inaayos talaga nila yun, and they’re not just slacking around, doing absolutely nothing.

I can’t think of anything to do in the Internet now, except for posting this blog and downloading some new wallpapers for my phone. And some songs. And explore explore sa ibang sites. I don’t want to get back to work yet. But I still have a load of things to do – essay and collage in comm3, physics homework, physics study, readings in kas1 and geog1, and math53. Mamaya, if I get overwhelmed by all these tasks to do, I’ll do the same old thing: Head over to McDonald’s and grab some burger, juice, pies, and sundaes (emphasis on the plural form of sundae please), and then I get the work done. But then, I bloat. Huhuhuhu!

Last night pala, we watched Freedom in Style – FUBU Streetdance Invitational Challenge. UP Diliman competed with other universities sa Streetdance pero well, we emerged as winners. Haha. Mapua was 1st runner up and UPLB was 2nd runner up. Saludo ako sa UP Streetdance Club! And sa UP Pep Squad! Champions lagi, hehehe! Ang competition kagabi sa UP Theatre ginanap so syempre, all out support ang mga Isko at Iska. In the end, it finally paid off.

Get a career and not a job. A job is just something you do just for money, just for the sake of having work. A career is something you do because you love it, because you have your heart in it. A career is something that you feel you are born to do it. We all struggle to find our own careers and it’s not an easy path that we’re going to take.

Nothing in this natural world is random. Everything that happens has a purpose. All we have to do is to read the signs. God made this world like a puzzle, it’s like everything has a proper place in which it perfectly fits.

This is all about destiny. There are no chances. How you live today determines what you will be tomorrow.

I really don’t take pride much in it because I know I didn’t do my very best in the previous semester. I know I could have done more. If only I took the time to review the lab part, if only I took the time to read for my first long test in ss2, if only I put more effort in the final paper in philo, if only I studied hard for the 2nd long exam in math. Regrets… But I can never take time back. All I can do is to learn what life has to teach me, and study hard, make people proud, and live life wih the least regrets possible. *sighs*

Uh-oh. One more problem left. I still don’t have chem 17 and a GE subject in the coming semester. To prerog or not to prerog? That is the question. Haha. Good luck na lang. Si CRS kasi eh. Ang arte. D nya ko inenlist sa lahat ng subjects. =’(
